6.1 A BETTER WAY

Rather than focusing on the data with presentation methods supplementing it, there should be a better way to present dynamic data. Imagine the inverse way—with presentation (view) as the focus and then the processing logic supplementing it (the view), rather than the other way round. This is the core approach to JSP. JSP standing for Java Server Pages, enables mixing of HTML code with content that is dynamically generated by server code, like Servlet. While Servlets have HTML-like syntax embedded within Java code, the JSP has java-like code embedded within HTML.
