Know Where Content Comes From
You can use lots of different methods to obtain the content that you will access with Media Center. Throughout this book, we’ll specifically explain how to get the content, but for now just consider that you can obtain it from locations such as these:
Television
Internet
Digital cameras
Camera phones
Digital video cameras
Computers
Portable media players
VCRs
CDs or DVDs
To get all this content, however, you need to have the right hardware attached to your computer (we’ll tell you what you need in Chapter 5), and you’ll want to get comfortable with using Media Center. Next, you’ll explore the interface (how Media Center looks and works) in a bit more detail.
