It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understand Connectivity Concepts
The type of video connections you have will determine the quality of the images you see. In this section, we outline basic types of video connections you might come into contact with while setting up your home entertainment system. We didn’t include DVI or HDMI connections since we’ve already discussed those concepts.
RF connections. This type of connection is used with a rooftop antenna, a cable TV service, or a satellite TV antenna feed, so the chances are good you have one of these. Also, you might need an RF connection to transmit the antenna or cable signal from a VCR to the TV if you plan on hanging on to that piece of equipment.
