Understand Video Formats
The type of video format you choose when importing a video determines the video file type for the resulting video when you use the Import Video feature. You can import video from a videotape in one of two ways: as a Windows Media Video (.wmv) file or as the default format from your digital video device.
Table 17-1 offers some things to consider when choosing a video format.
