We love how easy it is to work with the Windows Vista speech recognition program—it was a new concept for us to work with, and we were able to get it up and running in very short order. Because it’s built in to Windows Vista, all you need to do to launch it is to find it on your system and start it by following these steps:
Click the Start button

Media Center does not need to be on to complete these steps.
Type Speech in the Start Search box.
Open Windows Speech Recognition from the search results.
