So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Get Optimum Sound
Even though you’ve already gone through your home and (we hope!) identified each room’s listening environment, we’re going to toss in our thoughts about a few rooms most people have in their homes. If you’re wavering on what the speaker placement should be or how a room should be classified, the following information should help you narrow the issues down.
Note
A single room of, say, 100 square feet doesn’t need more than 50 watts or so of total power. Most small rooms can do just fine with far less. However, rooms with lots of activity will probably need more wattage along the lines of 150 watts or so.
