It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Play DVDs Through Media Center
When you’re ready to play a DVD, it’s a simple process. Follow these steps to play it from your Media Center PC:
Insert the DVD into the Media Center DVD drive.
If the DVD doesn’t play automatically because of your AutoPlay settings, click Start, TV + Movies.
Click Play DVD.
The movie should begin to play. If it doesn’t, click the DVD menu button on your remote, and click Play.
You can use your remote control or onscreen Play toolbar to skip ahead, fast-forward, rewind, or perform other tasks, as shown in Figure 12-1. You can use your mouse to run the onscreen toolbar.
