Work with Libraries
In Table 1-1, did you catch all the different libraries that Media Center uses? Remember, these are actually links to entertainment content that is stored elsewhere on your computer or network. Media Center simply goes out to each library to retrieve content when you click a given library on the menu.
You can choose from four libraries within Media Center when you are searching for media:
Picture Library
Video Library
Music Library
Program Library
Each library holds relevant files, which makes it easy for you to scroll through and find what you are looking for from the Start screen. Media Center automatically places files into a library based on its file type.
