So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Optimize Media Center
Now that your media files are organized and being watched regularly for updates, it’s a good idea to keep Media Center running at optimum speed and power. You can easily do this by setting up a daily optimization schedule for Media Center, which is just a fancy way of way of saying you can set up specific times for Media Center to rid itself of unnecessary items so it can respond more quickly to your requests.
Once you set up the timing for this process, you can forget about the entire thing. Media Center will continue to optimize itself on the schedule you establish.
