I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preparing for Development
Whether your organization uses MDT 2008 or not, it will likely require multiple feature teams to develop high-volume deployment projects. Most feature teams need a lab environment. Although each feature team can construct a separate lab, most organizations create a single lab that shares facilities such as servers, networks, system backup, and source control with separate workspaces (computers and network shares) for each feature team. With this environment, feature teams can work separately when necessary and jointly when appropriate. It also helps minimize the number of computers and servers required.
