Understanding How Meeting Space Works
Meeting Space is built on three major Microsoft technologies:
Microsoft P2P Collaboration Services. These services provide Meeting Space with the underlying technologies for peer discovery, group communication, and identifier to address resolution within the network environment. For more information on these services, see the section titled "Meeting Space and Microsoft P2P Collaboration Services" later in this chapter.
Distributed File Replication Services (DFRS). DFRS is the multithreaded, multiple-master replication engine originally used by the Windows Server platforms for server synchronization.
