Welcome to the second edition of the Windows Vista Resource Kit!
This new edition updates the content of the previous edition to include the many improvements and new features introduced in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1). Whenever Windows Vista is referred to in this edition, you should assume that it means Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 applied to it unless otherwise indicated.
In addition to focusing on Windows Vista SP1 on the client side, this edition now gives primary focus to running Windows Server 2008 on the server side of a Windows Vista deployment. However, coverage of using Windows Server 2003 on the server side is still prominent wherever the differences between the two server platforms are significant. ...
