I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 25 Davanti Starts to Look Lean
“Muda, muri, mura” seemed to be the only three words Lee Cheng, the lean expert from Davanti’s Taiwan plant, knew. He repeated them constantly, while pointing everywhere in the prototype shop with an angry look on his face. As his tour of the shop continued, he got increasingly angry and said “muda” much louder; sometimes he drew a circle in the air with his hand and said, “All muda; too much muda.” Luca quickly understood that Lee had found many opportunities for improvement.
