A lean enterprise is all about innovation. In fact, the whole point of any lean transformation is supporting innovation. This is why lean production centers around quality and flexibility: new products must convince customers on quality right away, and flexible processes must make it easier to build new products on existing lines so as to lower the manufacturing costs and make products more affordable as they are released.
