Menus

This section describes the Desktop menus, Taskbar, Toolbar menu, Window List menu, and Operations menu in detail. Table 8-2 on page 276 lists all the common menus, their basic functions, and where to find information on each.

Desktop Menus

There are two Desktop menus.

  • The Desktop menu that appears when you right click the root window is a pop-up menu that is displayed on the root window. This book refers to this menu as the Pop-up Desktop menu (Figure 8-22).
