GUI System Administration Tools
In addition to the system administration tools available in a character-based environment, you have the option of using graphical tools in a GUI. Many of these tools are built specifically for the GNOME and KDE desktops.
GNOME System Settings Window/Menu
Display the System Settings window by double-clicking a Start Here icon (page 216) and clicking System Settings, or by entering system-settings: in a Nautilus Location bar. Double-clicking on any of the icons opens a window that enables you to work with the corresponding system settings. You can display the same windows from GNOME menu:System Settings.
