Processing Text Submissions

By now the <cfoutput> tag should be familiar to you; you use it to mark a block of code that ColdFusion should parse and process. The line <strong>Movie title:</strong> #FORM.MovieTitle# is processed by ColdFusion. #FORM.MovieTitle# is replaced with the value you entered in the MovieTitle form field.

Note

Use of the prefix FORM is optional. Using it prevents ambiguity and improves performance, but it also makes the code less reusable.
