So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

おそらく、エンジニアリング戦略を構築する上で最も重要なステップは洗練です。8章では、すでにこの「戦略の洗練」の概要を説明しました。本書の第Ⅲ部では、3つの核となるマッピング技法について詳しく掘り下げていきます。具体的には「戦略テスト」、「システムモデリング」、「Wardleyマップ」です。
これらの技法について順を追って解説していきますが、世の中には他にも多くのテクニックが存在するという点は心に留めておいてください。このセクションで取り上げるのは、あくまで私がこれまでの経験上、最も有用だと判断した技法です。優れた参考資料としては、Eben Hewitt著の『Technology Strategy Patterns』（O'Reilly Media）があります。また、その書籍について私がまとめたメモは、ブログ（https://lethain.com/notes-on-the-technology-strategy-patterns）に掲載しています。
