A blockchain network is a decentralized network, and each node should have similar information about the blockchain ledger. A decentralized network can be set up in an open network by allowing everyone to connect to and perform operations on the blockchain, or equally, it could be maintained in a private network. A public blockchain network is achieved by enabling connect permissions in every node. Enterprises typically prefer to establish a private network as it helps keep the bad actors away. This network configuration can be easily configured in MultiChain at each node.
