Robustness
DLTs will be heavily exposed to the public due to the decentralized nature of the technology. DLTs become more resilient the more they get exposed to the public network. The immutability achieved by the ledger ensures that the information cannot be easily tampered with by the intruders. The decentralization helps to achieve redundancy of information across the network, which will ensure a fault-tolerant system. The overall health of the system doesn't depend on any particular entity that will make the system robust.
