A non-profit DAO is implemented by maintaining a public ledger that is governed by the trustless entities in the network. The DAO can be joined by anyone who is willing to contribute to or monitor the project, and at the same time, the rules of the DAO are decided by the community, rather than the autonomous organization. All of the organization's rules are written in a smart contract and are deployed to the blockchain. Any modifications to the rules must be agreed by the entire community.
Non-profit, NGO, or government welfare projects can be implemented using DAOs to ensure complete transparency of the process.
