David Birch, Richard Brown, and Salome Parulava proposed an evaluation model in the paper Towards ambient accountability in financial services: Shared ledgers, translucent transactions and the technological legacy of the great financial crisis, which was published in the Journal of Payments Strategy and Systems. The paper proposes a model to explore the application of shared ledgers in financial services. They also envision a financial marketplace with translucent transactions.
