Often the aggregation of simple actions by many can have a huge impact. This is reflected by a variety of recent innovations: micro loans in India, local agricultural policies sponsored by the World Bank, the Cultural Revolution in China, the Women’s movement, Lady Bird Johnson’s highway cleanup, and the Green movement. All represent small individual actions that together constituted a movement that had a profound large-scale impact.
