So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hyperparameter selection
For this experiment, we will use the same hyperparameters that we used in the simple maze solving experiment. Our idea is to have the same initial conditions for the neuroevolutionary algorithm and to see whether it can evolve a successful solver agent for a different, more complex maze configuration. This will indicate how well the algorithm generalizes using the hyperparameter settings used for a different maze configuration.
