Brainstorming is a technique used to generate alternatives and prob-
lem solutions. It can be done by individuals, but it works better in
groups because the insights and experiences of many people almost
always produce more ideas than a person working alone, no matter
how brilliant that person might be.
To brainstorm for alternatives, begin with a blank flipchart page
