Encourage Continuous Improvement
Like every other process used by your business—order entry, re-
cruiting, manufacturing, and so forth—decision making is amenable
to continual improvement. Individuals and teams can get better at
making decisions if they make a conscious effort to learn from each
experience. That conscious effort often takes the form of an after-
action review:
What were the strong points of our decision analysis?
Where could we have done better?
If we could start over again, what would we do better?
