RD Connection Establishment
Background
Refer to Figure 10-3 on page 201. As previously described in “Reliable Datagram (RD) Service Type” on page 67, a local and a remote RD QP communicate by passing messages through a “pipeline” between the two CAs that they reside in (the “pipeline” is referred to as a Reliable Datagram Channel, or RDC). The two ends of the pipeline are referred to as EECs (End-to-End Contexts).
