I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Why JSP?
A large portion of the development of Web pages is now performed by individuals who know nothing of procedural programming languages. These Web page developers often know more about the artistic placement of graphics and text on a page than they do about programming control loops. For these Web page developers, developing a Web page involves some knowledge of the HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and the use of GUI development tools to manipulate graphics and text to create an interesting Web page.
Hiring Web page developers is very attractive from an IT management perspective, since it is easier and less expensive to have these individuals build a large portion of a Web site than to find and pay a staff of Java developers to write Java ...
