and the ambient light at the scene.
If, on the other hand, you are photographing a room interior for the
cover of a major magazine, you will need to balance the ambient and arti-
cial light carefully. To do this, you will decrease your shutter speed for more
of the ambient light. Or you will increase the shutter speed for less ambient
light.
If the above changes in the shutter speed make the image either too light
or too dark, you can then adjust the aperture to compensate and get the
balance of both you desire.
