To achieve the “Cinema Noir” look we were after, we made use of the mixed-color ambient lights
we found at our shooting location. Later, during postproduction, we refined the image until we were
satisfied with it.

We combined the light given off by three portable strobes with the ambient light inherent to the studio
in which we were working to make this image.
