So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Polarizing filters used with incandescent lights need to be attached to a
bracket or a separate light stand a distance away from the light. The exact
distance depends on the wattage and the reflector design of the light. It
is worth cutting a small piece of the polarizing material and deliberately
burning it in front of the light to determine a safe distance.
