So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Decide How Often to Review the Parking Lot
You have a number of projects on the parking lot. That’s good, because you removed them from the ranking decision. When should you review the projects on the parking lot?
It depends on how you use your parking lot. Do you use the parking lot as a place to put projects because people are reluctant to kill the projects? If so, review the parking lot as infrequently as possible. You might consider the parking lot a write-only board.
If you use the parking lot as a place to put things for now and revisit later, I recommend you start with a review frequency twice as long as your normal project portfolio review. If you review the project portfolio once every three months, review the parking lot every ...
