Adjusting the character spacing and changing the font size
In our example, all the numbers are evenly spaced and the font size cannot be changed. It's very likely that you will want your numbers to be closer together or of a different font size. Let's alter our custom font so that the sprites are closer together. The following image shows our font after the adjustments versus the original created in the last part of this example:
To change the spacing of the characters, complete the following steps:
- Duplicate the CustomFont with Ctrl + D and rename the duplicate to CustomFontTight. Open the Inspector of CustomFontTight.
