F1 | Displays the Microsoft Excel Help Task Pane. |
Note
If you use a screen review utility or other accessibility aid, you'll get the best results with Help if you enter questions using the Search box in the Help task pane rather than the Office Assistant balloon or the Ask A Question box on the menu bar. To turn off the Assistant, press F1 (to display the Assistant), right-click the Assistant and choose Options from the shortcut menu, and press Alt+O to display the Options tab in the Office Assistant dialog box. Press Alt+U to clear the Use The Office Assistant check box, and then press Enter. The Assistant character disappears (or makes a dramatic animated exit), and the next time you press F1, the Help task pane appears.
