One of the advantages of working with computers is the convenience of electronic files. In this section, we describe both the usual and unusual ways you can create, open, save, and find your Excel files.

Creating and Opening Workbooks

To open existing workbooks, click the Open button (the second button on the Standard toolbar). The Open dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 2-14.
