This section will take you on a tour of not only the dashboard of Excel, but also the trunk and the glove compartment. We might even slip on some gloves and take a peek under the floor mats.
Here are a few random tidbits of interesting information about the grid we call the worksheet.
Column letters range from A through IV. (After column Z comes column AA, after AZ comes BA, and so on, up to IV.) Row numbers range from 1 through 65,536.
The currently selected cell is referred to as the active cell. When you select a range of cells, only the cell in the upper-left corner is considered the active cell. The reference of the active cell appears at the left end of the Formula Bar in the Name box.
