It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Analysis Toolpak Data Analysis Tools
If you performed a complete installation of Excel, the Analysis ToolPak is available each time you start Excel. You can access the tools installed with the Analysis ToolPak by choosing Tools, Data Analysis to display the dialog box shown in Figure 17-6.

Using the Descriptive Statistics Tool
The Descriptive Statistics tool provides a table of statistics for one or more sets of input values. For each variable in the input range, this tool's output range includes a detailed list of statistics, as shown in Figure 17-7.
