So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Additional Ideas for Using the Dock
The Dock acts like a shortcut, sparing you from using the Finder every time you want to run a program or open a file. In addition, the Dock also comes in handy for switching between programs and program windows, and quitting programs from one convenient location:
Loading and switching programs Click an icon on the Dock.
Switching to a different open file Right-click an icon on the Dock and click a filename.
Shutting down a program Right-click an icon on the Dock and choose Quit.
The more comfortable and familiar you get with the Dock, the easier it will be to use your Macintosh, no matter what you want to do, so take a few moments to practice using the Dock.
