Identifying Your Hard Disk’s Free Space
No matter how big a computer’s hard disk might be, most people will always find a way to fill it up. In case you’re wondering how much free space you have left or what type of files are cluttering up your hard disk, your Macintosh can show you a color-coded picture of what audio files or applications are taking up the most room on your hard disk.
To see what’s taking up the most space on your hard disk and how much free space you might have left, do this:
Click the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. An About This Mac window appears (see Figure 51-1).
Click the More Info button. An Overview window appears (see Figure 51-2).
