I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If you use a laptop Macintosh, encrypting your data can protect it in case someone steals your computer. With encryption turned on, a thief won’t be able to read any files stored in your Home folder. If you use a desktop Macintosh, it’s less likely that someone will steal your computer, so encryption is more useful for protecting against others peeking at your files, such as your supervisor, co-workers, or even family members.
By itself, encryption can protect your data, but if your data is truly important, consider storing it on a removable device, such as an external hard disk or USB flash drive that you can disconnect and take with you. By storing crucial data off your hard disk and encrypting that data, ...
