It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Parental controls aren’t just for children. If you are teaching someone to use the Macintosh, for example, and you don’t want that person messing up your computer settings, you can set up a Managed with Parental Controls account for that person and let him or her use the Simple Finder along with a limited list of programs. With a limited choice of options, novices can learn to use the Macintosh safely without getting overwhelmed by the variety of options normally available.
