I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
19.5. Indicating specific orderings of transactions
We assume a transaction management system with clients who may simultaneously submit a number of transactions. The system is at liberty to execute their operations in any order provided that a serializable execution is achieved, since a serializable execution of a set of transactions is defined to be correct. All serial executions are assumed by the system to be equally acceptable to the application.
If the semantics of the application require one transaction to be carried out after another they must not be submitted to a transaction management system at the same time. For example, it might be that a user must transfer money from a savings account to a current account before transferring money ...
