22.10. Summary
We considered multiple cooperating instances of the TPS described in Chapter 20 and reiterated, in the context of a distributed system, the general object model that was set up in Chapter 19.
Much of the discussion of concurrency control in Chapter 20 was equally applicable to distributed systems. In this chapter a short discussion on each method highlighted the points specific to distributed systems. There is as yet little practical experience of distributed implementations.
