I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The Object Data Management Group (ODMG) is a consortium of object-oriented database management system (ODBMS) vendors and interested parties working on standards to allow portability of customer software across ODBMS products. The ODMG home page is http://www.odmg.org/.
By supporting the same interface, members expect to accelerate significantly progress towards effective adoption of the standard. The objectives of the ODMG are:
To develop a standard set of specifications that may be freely incorporated in database and applications programs in order to permit applications to access information stored in object database management systems in a uniform manner.
