So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Roles and responsibilities of Akka's ActorMaterializer
Akka Stream's ActorMaterializer is responsible for doing the following:
- Creating required Actors under the hood to execute Graphs
- Allocating the required resources to execute Graphs
- Executing Graphs
- Executing different stages of Graphs step by step
- Taking inputs of one stage and using them to provide output for the next stage (Source, Sink, Flow, and so on)
