I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Why Actors are lightweight?
In the Akka Toolkit, Actors are lightweight. They have only business logic. Other logic like such as supervision, dispatching messages, mailboxing, and more, are taken care of by other Akka components.
For instance, supervisions will be taken care of by parent Actors. Dispatching messages by the Akka Dispatcher component, mailboxing by the Akka mailbox component, and more.
In the Akka Toolkit, business logic concerns and other concerns are loosely coupled. That's why Akka Actors are very lightweight; they need space to do their job.
