Why don't we write exceptions or failures handling in Actor itself?

• It increases the tight coupling between the Actor's computation logic and failure handling
• It makes Actors large or heavyweight components
• It decreases scalability and maintainability
• It violates the SRP

To avoid all these problems, the Akka Toolkit uses the Actors hierarchy model to implement failure handling.

So, an Akka Actor is as small as possible with Single Responsibility and lightweight features. There is a clear separation between an Actor's computation logic and failure handling.
