I’ve noticed that many teams tend to get caught up with the execution of their strategies, most of which focus on cost savings. However, if you remember, back in the first step of the process where the team agreed to manage costs, they listed a number of goals from different perspectives. While verifying the action plan, it is worth taking a few minutes to revisit the goals for both Anything Inc. and Fixit and see whether progress has been made on most of those goals. Let’s take a moment to list these goals again (see Figure 9-7).
