This is one of those Rules I have the most difficulty with. I know what I should be doing, and I get it right more often than I used to, but I don’t get it right as often as I should. Maybe it’s a bloke thing.
So where do I go wrong? Well, when someone tells me they have a problem, I try to solve it. Seems obvious to me. But apparently (as I am frequently told), that’s not what’s wanted. And I do understand really, I just have to keep reminding myself. So I’ll explain it to you in the hope that writing it down will help it sink into my brain too.
