I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Go that extra step in trying to please them
You mean giving them flowers isn’t enough? No, it isn’t – try giving them flowers every week. You cooked them a special meal only last month? Why so long ago? Cook them a special meal almost every time you cook. Not expensive, but something you know they’ll love. And make it look good, take trouble to garnish or dress it or serve it with a delicious fresh salad on the side. I know there are days when everyone’s eating on the hoof, but aim for a special meal whenever you can.
Make them a cup of coffee, change that light bulb you know has been irritating them, iron their clothes while you’re doing your own anyway. Wash their car as a treat, buy them that little trinket you saw that looked just ...
